Recently added a further standard washer fitting on the front of mine.
Blanked off the original centre placement & now have two in the blanked off holes for the LHD wipers. Pretty easy job & a game changer in the real world of insufficient coverage ! ![]() PS it’s a pre Puma Td5 |

How did you fit the passenger side washer? I had a look at doing this and it looked like the passenger side was blocked by stuff so access would have been a struggle...

Jonny - the faff was trying to change the original centre one, indeed I had to “modify” the centre dash top bracket to get it off. Don’t remember anything particularly challenging - just a little dismantling which was easy enough

I am wondering why the squirters are not fitted on the hood. Is it the angle of the windshield or the fact the wipers are rather short.

I think it has to do with legacy of a folding windscreen which makes bonnet (it doesn't have a hood!) mounted nozzles slightly unsatisfactory.

You can make big improvements fitting stronger pumps on the tank.
On my 110 I swapped the rear and front pumps and it made a notable difference as the rear one is stronger. I think a Discovery pump might be an option too. |
