Puma Air Conditioning
Good evening,

I have been plagued with blown fuses on my Air Conditioning (Fuse 42). I checked for shorts and there does not appear to be any. It comes and goes. Just now I had the engine off and pressed the Air Con button and the fuse blew after a few seconds.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might be causing this?

Could it be the compressor clutch?

Chris

Excess load if you can’t see any obvious faults, if there is a ground fault on that circuit, that could increase current draw and keep popping the fuse. (Which is why it can appear as a sporadic fault).

You’d need to use a Multimeter if you can and do some readings, and the wiring schematic will be useful if you can find it, it’ll likely be on here somewhere. _\Hennessey|Venom| F5/___

I have decided to replace the compressor. Does anyone know what gasket the manifold to compressor uses? And the torques for same?

The compressor is engaged and disengaged by a magnetic clutch. So replacing the compressor itself probably help. Check the magnetic clutch and the circuit.
