Autel for modifying CCF
Hi all,

I like to tinker a bit with my cars, both LR and not. I have an L663 MY23.5 for which i’d like to fix the driver assistance changing back to high on every start. I’ve seen this is possible with the IIDtool G4, but im wondering if any other diagnostic tools can do it. I’m a bit remiss to drop £600 on a LR specific (and particularly a VIN locked) tool. For similar money you can get something like an Autel with a broad range of features across marques.

Has anyone had success with configuring CCF with tools other than the IIDtool?

Many thanks

I haven't tried, but did think it was worth paying for that specific change from an independent LR specialist (driver assistance set to non EU so it remembers whatever setting you had it on last).

Cost around £70 iirc and very much worth it.

Sorry that the IIDTool is so expensive - but it was (is) a LOT of work. There is a reason that diagnostic systems like Autel can't do CCF. Razz

There is a misconception regarding the VIN lock: the IIDTool is only locked to one VIN for CCF / programming functions such as raising or lowering the air suspension, etc. Diagnostic functions a VIN lock free and work on all Land Rovers we cover. So you'll likely have more functionality than with an Autel or similar - just limited to Land Rovers.

In my opinion its one the best items I have bought for my car. I have been able to activate loads of stuff for a fraction of the cost. Its defo worth it.
