Swap AJ200D (D200) with AJ300D (D250, D300) engine on L663
Hello, I own a Defender 90 diesel D200 2.0L (engine AJ200D), however, after owning a V8 car for a long time I still can't get used to the low capacity of my 2.0L L663 engine and looking for ways to improve the performance dramatically (more than just chip-tuning from 199hp to 240hp).

I wanted to know if anyone here on this forum have past experience swapping AJ200D (2.0L, 14, Diesel) with AJ300D (3.0L, 16, Diesel) engines and how complex this process is for L663. From what I heard, unlike the AJ200D, the AJ300D Defenders have an MHEV and I don't know if it complicates the process dramatically.

Please let me know if you guys came across any info about this topic or if you have experience swapping engines. Thanks everyone beforehand!

Sounds like it will be better to sell and get what you want. Confused Eiger Grey MY23 D250 SE with bits. Known as Noddy.

Heavens that would be a massive job. Although anything is possible. ldeally you would need to find a written off Defender with the 3.0 engine still intact.

As above, better to sell yours and buy the one that you want.
