Hi all, very very interesting reading, I've had my L663 MY23.5 P400SE for 5 months now and very keen on the GAP IID BT G3 tool. I ordered the vehicle with ACC, TR2, active e diff, but no tow pack (I'm old school in that respect).

At the moment I don't have/can't do as far as I know:
-global window open / close
-rear door remote open
-dynamic mode
-park assist
And probably a few others.

Will be following this with interest.

I see Hunters Prestige have a video on their instagram story with upgrades for the new Pivi Pro layout and Pivi apps. They have worked out how to make the car remember the setting for driver assist, so you can set it to low and it will stay there when you next start the car much like the stop start button. They are saying that they are the only people that can enable SV Bespoke on the screen but I think that is one of the choices on the James Bond mode. There are a few other things on there but I don't think you can link to an instagram story, it does look interesting how the screen layout and buttons are changing.

Their instagram is https://www.instagram.com/huntersprestige/ Cheers Ian

the new screen layout is default on 24Y models, because of change of physical buttons. i think it will come to all 23.5Y with update as the assistant button is here already.

Sorry, but I have to correct this.

I have a MY24 and do not have the new menu / Pivi Pro layout in my car.

This might be introduced via the next update 4.1.0 but with 4.0.0 it is absolutely the same as MY23.

Might also become introduced in MY24.5 not MY24. Greetings

Philipp

maybe you are right, i think the new layout is basicaly for vehicles without volume button (https://www.ovalnews.com/2023/09/reset-pivi-pro-reset-infotainment-screen-for-range-rover-defender-discovery.html) so i think 24 is already without 😀

In the video Hunters do say they think a lot of the physical buttons are going to disappear, like on the new FFRR, and be replaced with controls on the screen. Thumbs Up Cheers Ian

lt's what people want apparently.

And probably cheaper to make. Look at vehicles like the Tesla where you have almost no buttons or switches at all.

How long before there's no steering wheel, and you program your destination into the touch screen.

I guess it allows Land Rover to update the cars easier as they can change the function, layout etc of the buttons with software updates.

I've tried various settings on the park assist but I can't get it without the emergency brake fault unfortunately Neutral Cheers Ian

l don't think anyone dare to try the D250-300 upgrade, we're all waiting for someone else to do it first.

Maybe GAP Diagnostic can try, if they've access to a D250.
Or Powerful U.K. on their Defender

2015 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 DCPU Corris Grey
So, new to this forum but not to Defenders....

I just got a brand new MY24 110 X-dynamic P400e. Was in a bit of a hurry updating the CCF to get dynamic mode and did not do my homework regarding resetting Pivi and lock and rest the car for a while before checking if the update worked (have only changed CCF on a Disco 4 before and that was more straightforward). Was disappointed that the icons hadn't shown up. Started the car, it started with the engine and not battery which was unusual, also the engine idle was rough. So I got spooked and reverted to my original CCF, still did not reset pivi or lock car and wait. Started it, still started on engine, brrrr:ing sound coming from left side of boot that didn't go away despite driving a short run (don't know where the compressor is located on L663s but I haven't heard that sound before and certainly not for that long), EV mode not available when trying to activate. Battery kicks in when accelerating though.
Hoping this will have gotten better after good nights rest in the garage....
But before I try again with the Dynamic, does this sound normal?

Thanks

I already try these two ccf:
MultiCAN-580 GenericEngPwrOut
MultiCAN-599 EnginePowerOutput

when I had 2020 D250, but i dont think it works.

Okay thank you for the information regarding engine output. l would have been surprised if all the software for different engines was present.

With the new Land Rover above, if it hasn't reset itself then make sure you've reset the CCF to "original" then call out Land Rover Assist, it may be there's an actual fault with the vehicle.
