Trouble with Nanocom… help!
So here’s issue. Last week I used the Nanocom to power bleed drivers side after a brake rebuild. Yesterday did the left side and the ABS menu option has disappeared from my Nanocom screen. WTF?

I tried to upgrade the firmware and my PC recognizes the unit when I tap the “Kernal” icon on the Nanocom for the install but nothing happens, nothing loads on the PC to start the upgrade??? I tried the same on a second PC I have and same thing. Both PCs have old Windows OS like Vista…

Yes that is why I listed that part in my post. I am going to try another more modern PC tomorrow. Still does not explain why the menu ABS disappeared though. I wish I could somehow just use my iPad…

Try flashing the Nanocom with a different USB cable.

I've had a very similar issue with a broken USB cable here, flashing the Nanocom would fail or do nothing.

While at it, I'd also recommend to overwrite the configuration to start afresh, just make sure you have your codes at hand as you'll have to re-enter them. “A Land Rover immobilized is a moral defeat for the driver and bad publicity for the vehicle, […] it's up to you to do justice to your Land Rover!” - Land Rover Driving Technique.
