The bulb holders aren't moulded to the cables, they have terminals crimped to the cables, which are inserted into the bulb holders -

I've looked high and low for a matching or similar terminal, without success Sad

I've also looked for a similar bulb holder that could be modified - but, the majority of the readily available ones are the PCB contact bayonet fixing type, which aren't really suitable.

I was'nt aware the terminals could be removed from the moulding. I wonder whether 3d printing could help with new mouldings...shall have a word with a friend in that industry.

Meanwhile, I guess all we can do is keep looking.

Thanks again

I agree with Blackwolf regards to LED for those.
I tried that and found also that they weren’t any good, a real pain seeing as it’s so involved to get at them.

I hoped they’d perform better, they didn’t and last longer, they didn’t.
In fact the ones I had failed faster that incandescent standard capless 1.2w ones.
One or two LED’s went completely another kept randomly flashing was was extremely annoying!

In the end I replaced them with Lucas 1.2w and they’ve been fine so the supposed upgrade I hoped was no such thing and a waste of time.

Regarding the loom, I’d check out somewhere like Thornton breakers.
They perhaps may want to sell you the whole part but maybe that’s cheaper than alternatives and if used then maybe worth it.

If you don’t ask you don’t get, presumably they might have one in they might not but just an idea.

Maybe failing that get the ones like Paul suggested from one of those manufacturers from a breaker and cut and splice your own loom using wire tails.
Though some soldering and heat shrinking would be needed.

Hope there is some ideas there, some of these things can be a pain to source and some not possible to source at all. Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧
