Topless Defender with half-door
Brothers, I would like to convert my 2001 Defender 90 into a topless one. I want to use a series-style half door. Do the door for SERIES III suit the Defender?

Etc. Part number 395529 / 395530

Maybe add some kind of roll protection to that. I use the military hoop on mine for protection and to provide mounts for the seatbelts. It isn't fastened back to the chassis but is better than nothing and likely to be sufficient for the slow speed topple I am likely to suffer.

Here it is 2 weeks ago at a trialing event.

Also, I fitted the military 90/110 two part doors but these are effectively the same as the series doors.

You will need the correct door locks and catch plates and also need to modify the door check straps. I managed to graft in the check strap gubbins from my rotten Defender doors.

If you go the direction of having a roll bar then Safety Devices do a whole host of hoops and cages for a 90 soft top

Seen reports of the SP doors not fitting as have been made slightly oversized. Ifhou buy some measure them before fitting
