I ordered my 90 HT in May with the digital dash box ticked. Been in regular contact with my dealer who hasn't mentioned it. I asked if I could change the spec yesterday and he said it was past date to make changes but didn't say anything about any options being removed. https://instagram.com/bentheoandrews

It's interesting and concerning reading the discussions on the US site about this. The claim is that JLR can downgrade these, and not offer a discount for doing so. And it sounds like there is a threat that if you want to hold out until they can supply them again, there is a risk of being charged the MY23 price.
I believe over here in the UK we have better consumer laws that offer more protection. But next time you check in with the dealership, it could be worth asking what the situation is with regard to a custom order if it can't be fulfilled. I would have thought that if what is being offered is not what was ordered, then you're entitled, without penalty, to a refund of the deposit, and can walk. Only ordered my 110 XS 5 weeks ago, so haven’t heard anything yet.Will leave it a few weeks before I chase. If they do remove the dash then my order will definitely be cancelled. 110 XS 250 MY 23 Gondwana Stone, Cold climate pack and towbar

if I build now can have bigger Screen but no digital dash
I`ve got digital dash and normal screen, I`d have preferred the bigger screen to be fair and analogue dash 2015 90SW Heritage MY16, 2016 90SW XS MY16 (123rd b4 the last build) & RRS HSE MY15 |

Bad news...
Just received this from my dealer this afternoon. "We have received correspondence from JLR today regarding your order. The vehicle is still tracking for the end of October however we have been advised today that the interactive drivers display is no longer available. This is due to the component shortage. Would you be happy to still continue with your build with the analog dials? There is no estimated date for vehicles with the interactive drivers display. Peugeot started doing this months ago, I’m surprised it’s taken JLR this to do the same. 24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue

Ah well, not a deal breaker for me. Got it in the Disco and is nice but guess it's £500 I won't have to spend.... And regardless of what others have said, as it's an option and not standard on the HT I sure as hell won't be paying for it. https://instagram.com/bentheoandrews

If the dials were a full 360 degrees I might have put up with it, but with them being two thirds mechanical, and the digital display making up the rest of the dial, it just looks a bit naff on a vehicle of this value. I’ll just sit tight until the full interactive display is available. By that time hopefully some of the other supply chain issues will be resolved. There seems to be a theme here at the moment, just trolled various Facebook pages and the people who are reporting that there dash has been amended are all ones who have ordered 90,s. The options are becoming very dynamic!
There are a multitude of options on my MY22 90 HT you can no longer get. Examples; interactive display and 11.4 screen.... At the time I ticked most options. Didn't go for keyless entry! Did note on picking it up a few weeks back, that I didn't get a domestic plug, despite it being in my order. My dealership investigating... Apparently no longer available on MY22 HTs. Just had to order the genuine tray over the cup holders, as this is also apparently not available. £60.00 for a bit of rubberised plastic a tad expensive, but looks odd without it. The 90 that toured the dealers last year had the analog dials and they ain’t bad, I would’ve been happy to take the analog dials but LR deleted the base spec 90 for diesel engined cars.
I was thinking about cashing in on the increasing value of my 90 and going for the Hard Top but my salesman said there’s nothing to buy and if I order it’s a years wait. No thanks I’ve waited since 2019  24MY 90 D250 HSE, Tasman Blue |

It seems that this affects all builds slated for after September 13th.
It looks like you can choose to accept the analogue alternative and keep to the original delivery date, or it’s back to the holding pool, and waiting for whenever. Defender 90 HSE 250D 2022MY - Gave up after two failed orders |
