300 tdi faults
Got a phone call from my daughter regarding her 300 tdi.
Temperature gauge not working, fuel gauge not working, indicators not working, rear wiper not working.
Windscreen wipers work, cigar lighter works, front lights work, hazard lights work, heating system works.
Any ideas 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

I think that could be as simple as fuse #3 - 15A. It covers most of those things that are gone, and none of the things that are still going.

Above the transmission tunnel, upper row, third from the left.

Worth a try anyway. Donald

Thank you. I have forwarded on your suggestion to my daughter. Everything was working when she parked up and did not work when she restarted. So a fuse would fit the bill..hopefully. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

My thoughts exactly but according to my daughter everything is fine so far. The only time I had bother with fuses blowing on the Puma was when I borrowed a trailer. When I plugged it into the Puma it blew one of the fuses so the trailer lighting had a fault. My daughter does have a horsebox but up to now has had now bother when towing. Anyway if it goes again I told her to have it checked out. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

Trailer socket is a good call. I had the indicator switch dropping apart inside and causing a short. If she has problems with indicators staying on it will need taking down and rebuilding. 1995 Defender 110 CSW
