Indicators and hazards not working
Hi guys,
I am in the middle of swapping out the led lights for halogens however my indicators and hazard lights arent working.
When I unlock and lock the car the indicators flash and the arrows flash on the instrument cluster but the stalk and hazard switch don't operate the lights or lights on the cluster at all.

I have ordered a new flasher unit as because I have changed the lights back to halogens, the led adjustable flasher unit may not be helping so will fit that. If that doesn't fix it will it be the hazard switch? If so where is this located and how do you fix it, do you replace the whole switch, because have looked online and they are £50 for genuine.

Appreciate the help.

That's the original switch, but given the cost I would do some investigation first.

I would bridge the pins 1 and 3 on the hazard switch connector, then turn on ignition and see if the indicators work.

And/or bridge pins 2 and 3 (PURPLE/BROWN to LIGHT GREEN), this should instantly bring on the hazards.

If neither work then either BOTH fuses 21 and 31 in the fuse box above the pedals have blown, or the flasher unit is playing up.  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top
