Rear window latches
Hi. I am trying to remove the outer rear window latch trim in order to repaint. It appears to be tricky to remove. Is it bonded on or double sided tape?? Anyone know please 🙏 2015 90 XS Santorini Black

I think if it's the latch i'm thinking about you remove the Phillips screw that hold the inside part, remove the inside part to reveal the Phillips screw that hold the outside part, remove the screw and you should be sorted...

Or get a set of these puppies...

Thanks. Yes the screws are removed but the catch isn’t coming out of the glass. Not sure if it is bonded or just a bit stuck with time. Didn’t want to pry and damage the glass. 🙏 2015 90 XS Santorini Black

Perhaps they are simply stuck with time.
You could post a picture of what you see from the inside to be 100% sure. 1988 90 Hard Top, 19J Diesel Turbo, Shire Blue - Restoration ongoing

Thanks. I have it all put back together now but can get some pics later today.
I am thinking it’s just stuck over time and possibly is a gasket or something 👍 2015 90 XS Santorini Black
