Front diff oil change
Well just changed the front diff oil and after removing the drain plug seems one of the crown wheel bolt has sheared

Get yourself a new/stronger front diff. Rover ones are weak, especially in the front.

Would that be a p38 diff is it just a straight swap off the diff nose

I would fit a LSD. They are better for traction and much much stronger. Yours will be a rover diff, not a P38.

P38 diffs only went in the rear. the housing wont fit the front. i suggest pull whole wheel station form axle to change its alot easier, mind the brake lines if in doubt calipers off. only 7 bolts each side then. Cheers

At keast all the bolts will come out just rebuilt the swivel seals and hubs with all new bearings and bolts thank for the help 😀
