Front diff failure...
Bought this, knowing it had a vibration when driving

From cold, it was fine
After a few miles, developed a steering wobble around 50mph
Another few miles and it got quite bad
After about 10 miles into a journey, it would then wobble down to 30mph...

Already had radius arm bushes, swivel pins replaced, brakes and hub bearings checked, new steering damper, nothing cured it

So stuck it on the ramp on Friday before leaving work. Noticed a little oil leak from the front diff, so decided to check the oil level. We greeted with something "not oil" Laughing

Juat as well a new diff isn't too expensive. And the swivel housings could do with being replaced anyway. And front discs aren't great Rolling with laughter

Its not ideal when the oil hitting the pan sounds like a heafty cow pat hitting the barn floor.

Its a whole lot thicker than that. Id sat a combo of seal failure and "extended" service interval Laughing

Wobble is still there. Had fresh oil to try and clean out some of that gloop before the new diff goes in

Just need to find time to fit it Laughing

How are the panhard bushes?

Mine developed a terrifying wobble (and general lack of steering ability) when the panhard bushes finally fell apart.

The diff oil looks similar to what came out of mine when I first bought it! Still goes though...

New diff, new swivels, new discs and pads, new steering damper, stainless caliper pistons, and probably more in the box I've forgotten about Embarassed Laughing
