Oil is currently draining out of Truckasaurus while I wait for the delivery of new parts. When I put the oil filter back and fill it all back up, is there a way of cranking the engine for oil pressure? This is my first oil change on a diesel and I've realised there's no HT lead to unplug to get oil circulating before it runs.
I managed to get oil all over myself, pulled the plug out and didn't expect it to shoot quite that far back. Last edited by AndyS on 21st Oct 2020 6:47am. Edited 1 time in total |

It was about two seconds with the oil light on, then it went and everything was good. Hurrah. First oil change on a Defender, surprisingly easy.
