Cranking For Oil Pressure?
Oil is currently draining out of Truckasaurus while I wait for the delivery of new parts. When I put the oil filter back and fill it all back up, is there a way of cranking the engine for oil pressure? This is my first oil change on a diesel and I've realised there's no HT lead to unplug to get oil circulating before it runs.

I managed to get oil all over myself, pulled the plug out and didn't expect it to shoot quite that far back. Rolling with laughter

It was about two seconds with the oil light on, then it went and everything was good. Hurrah. First oil change on a Defender, surprisingly easy. Thumbs Up

If you do need to turn it over without firing in the future, you can pull the plug off the cam sensor I think. Certainly, mine wouldn't fire when the sensor failed. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS
