Mine only does it cold, starts ok and idles but when rpm run between 800 and 1200 feels almost like half a cyl missing. Also smoke. When it warms all good. Cold here at the moment (mid winter) 8 dec cel. In on Thursday to find out why. Will post if they fix It.

Mine does the miss like thing only when cold and when throttle used very lighyly at very low rpm. EGR was replaced last month, not that that means anything.

That's it, but settled after 10-15 seconds. Did you fix this? "You know, Marge, mud is nothing more than wet dirt!" (Homer Simpson) |

Hello, About two weeks ago, I had the fuel metering valve fitted. So far I have had no odd surging (fingers crossed) since.

Took mine in today to sort. Will report when they return it. I also have a caster issue, slight pull left that i want fixed, doesn't annoy around the city but on long trips its a pain.

Garage diagnosed sticking EGR valve. No fault codes generated but they say noise made when it goes through the self-cleaning routine when the engine is turned off is excessive.
