Install cubby box 110
I have just gotten the britpart Chubby Cubby DA2662 to install in to my 2005 110. A bit odd - the old box came out and was mounted at the bottom with 4 legs to elevate it. The new replacement box doesnt have the legs but a elevated tray fixed to the bottom. Do you knock this tray off as it doesnt align with the screw holes. And how do you get off the drinks tray to put in the screws. Maybe just prise it off. Anyone know maybe?

The drinks tray should just lift out and you’ll probably have to drill holes to match up with your own mounting points if that’s your new cubby box picture in your gallery. You don’t need to take the battens off the bottom. Thumbs Up Good luck. You could use the old box to get old hole positions and probably reuse the old spacers if they are the plastic ones. Ray

Yes that is the new boxes bottom and the old one has 4 plastic round tube like feet on the bottom. I will have another look at it. I prefer not to re use the old plastic feet and wasnt keen to take off the mounts on the new box. The drinks tray is fast glued on so will have to prise off.

Thanks much.

The drinks holder is held by 2 spots of glue. Use a wallpaper scraper and lever gently and it pops out. I knocked/prised the bottom bit off and reused the plastic spacers on mine, using the old one as a template for where to drill. Hope that helps. Cheers Neil

My drinks tray was glued in. I ended up just screwing up from below into the battens.
