Hi

Look up this Ford part number on the internet or ebay BK2Q-6714-AA , it's what you find inside the genuine LR box!

I don't think you will go wrong with either Mann, Mahle or Bosch. Also worth a look may be the Fram Tough Guard range. They have a special anti slip coating which helps when removing the filter. Defender 90XS SW

I've always used the genuine ford ones on ebay. I once used a bosch from euro car parts and it was not as well made. 1953 80"

If it's for a 2.4 Puma. .. The Mann version doesn't fit snuggly on the spiggot in the housing and the Mahle one doesn't have plastic end caps. I would go genuine LR for Ford. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

For the 2.2 the genuine filters from Land Rover are not expensive (unlike the fuel filter, ouch!)

Genuine means peace of mind for me, after all you’ve no warning an aftermarket filter is not doing a good job until your engine lunches itself. Crying or Very sad 2014 Keswick Utility 2.2

I think that given the issues the early 2.2 engines had with oil pump failures, a genuine filter is not a very expensive item in the service kit.
Part numbers attached if it helps..
