The EV taxi costs £55600 so I would expect the van would be cheaper, plus the taxi has a 300 mile real world range so a lighter panel van could well travel further on the same battery. Wonder why LR aren’t licensing LTC to produce an EV Defender 110 on the taxi running gear, would save a fortune on developement costs and the LTC EV taxis have proved to be popular and reliable Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

It's nigh on impossible to extract a few sentences to sum up, but "the application of the test as to whether a particular vehicle is a "goods vehicle" for the purposes of section 115(2)" and whether "the car was not "constructed or adapted for use . . . for the conveyance of goods" with the conclusion that "" . . . It seems to me that, by the conjunction of the words "constructed or adapted," the definition is really saying "originally constructed or where the structure is subsequently altered." Immediately one says that, the question arises whether it can be said that the structure of the vehicle in the ordinary sense of the word has been altered, or whether the structure remains the same, but that some small fitting or attachment is made which, although it physically involves making small holes for screws in the structure, could not in any ordinary sense of the word be an alteration of the structure."

First post since registering, Early 110’s did come with light upper body works. This is my 1983 110. I wish I’d still got it, but in the last year of ownership I only put 500 miles on the clock.

I wish he new Defender came in a better choice of colours. I really liked the Trident Green.

Correct but they were discontinued after the 1984 revision to the 110 when one-piece doors were introduced. It just didn't seem worthwhile to say "limestone side panels were a feature of series vehicles and the first few months of coiler producton". Fact remains that 99% of coilers built had body colour upper sides. 2011 110 USW

Those are the unladen weights of the station wagon versions I think, so the commercial hard top with less glass and seats and rear trim would have to be below 2040 kg to not have van speed restrictions? Could well be possible, especially with the plain steel wheels etc etc.

Yeah those are station wagons. Also the 110 hard top will have coil suspension as standard.

I wonder how hard it would be to remove the bulkhead on the 110. Found it strange that the rear view mirror that turns into a camera screen is a £500 option, even though the rear view miror is defunct with that bulkhead in place 110 D250 SE HT

Also looking at the powertrain, how many buyers of initial issue are going to be miffed, droped all 4 pot engines and now only running 6pot MHEV engines.
Plus the price difference at base level from 90 to 100 is £9K. Now thats a big chunk of money,
Coils as standard and air suspension is a £1600 option. Is it worth that amount?
Another question the towing pack is £2K. What is so special that it costs that much? Whats wrong with a plain towhook and now fancy electronics 110 D250 SE HT
