Seem well made, come with decent waterproof connectors and not too badly priced at £25 each.

Had our first night out in it and all went pretty well.

Decided that the awning side panels would come in useful for sun/rain/wind shelter..

I’d already fitted inner helper springs at the rear but you could feel it wallowing around corners somewhat with the high up weight so decided to try inner air bags instead. Ordered the Air-Lift AL1000 kit and upgraded top mounts and got it all fitted in a couple of hours. Glad to say it corners much better now!

That should keep her from wallowing about, nice addition to the springs and it's always good to have some sides to keep the weather at bay Very Happy 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper.

I had the same kit on the back of my 110 camper, although your top mounts are an improvement over the ones i had. My 110 had no arb's so i tried it with just the air bags and the result was great, and there was always the option of lowering the air pressure to give more articulation when needed.

Glad to say the air bags worked well, still a nice ride but stops the wallowing somewhat. May still fit a front arb though!

Lovely trip around some of Wales, no disasters, everything working great Thumbs Up

Fitted a Redarc dual boost/EGT gauge for monitoring as I’ve tweaked the pump and turbo a bit.

And got the shower installed, fitted inside a Pelican case, water from the already fitted water pump inside via a tap to an outside connector
Gas from the external gas point

Spent New Years Day in the shadow of Mam Tor, Peak District, got one of the camping fields to ourselves!
Then a visit to Chatsworth House the next day.
The camping set up is all working well, would just like a bit more power from the 300tdi…
