Well see my issue with my D5 was nothing to do with the D7 architecture so I’m sure the new Defender will be fine.

Are you sure?
A lot of the new models have “quick guides” and as been mentioned, a qr code with a link to guides & videos My confidence has been writing cheques that my abilities can't cash for years.

If it has one then I hope it isn’t like my Countryman’s hard copy Manual that reads like it was written in German then sent to India o China for translation to English and was never proof read by anybody using English as a first language, the e-version is much better but it’s not in a searchable pdf version and the index doesn’t match up to the page or paragraph numbers...... the only version that is usable is the electronic version in the car’s “brain” but then the text is so small it isn’t easy to read by us oldies (AnD my car has the optional bigger screen nav system it is displayed on), but at least it is updated regularly when there are over the air updates to the car as they find mistakes in it! I cannot understand why there cannot be a proper paper manual - Lordy every piece of kit you buy from Ikea has some form of printed instructions with it so why shouldn’t a luxury 4x4. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

Yup,
The last vehicles I handed over before lockdown were Evoque, Velar , RRS , E-Pace
They all had quick guides , F pace & XE for some reason still has a proper manual
I havent been back in to see what Defenders are coming with(I’m on furlough) , but I’m pretty certain it will be almost paperless My confidence has been writing cheques that my abilities can't cash for years.

There's one that comes with a frying pan that's 75 pages long! It started with a kiss, never thought it would come to this.
SIII CSW Safari, limestone, (JAC 914N). Where is she now?

It's not a car, it's a way of life!
