Rolling with laughter Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

Our little Airport at Norwich has become a dumping ground for British Airways planes. BA (to the best of my knowledge) have never flown in or out of Norwich Airport and these have been shipped up from London City where they have run out of room. There are also a load of Scandinavian / Norwegian planes there as well. Can't remember the carrier, but not one I have heard of. I presume Norwich is cheap and has lots of room. It also has KLM Engineering who can keep an eye on the planes and keep them flight worthy which must be a bit of a bonus. From what I read, BA are storing loads at Cardiff which is where they have a engineering centre.

There was a series made for Discovery Networks called Flying Heavy Metal with Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden lead singer, pilot and aeroplane guru). If I recall, they said on there that BA relied on a large amount of their aircraft to be flying as they didn't have capacity to park them all if they all had to land.

There must have been this issue after 9/11, but I can't remember the consequences then

Had to nip to the shop today, noticed mainly older people queuing, keeping a good distance between themselves and the person in front. Young hipsterish guy comes and stands right behind me, talking loudly into his mobile phone (on speakerphone, not held up to his ear) on about soap operas and their plans to go climb Snowden.

Some people just have no idea.

Glad you’re feeling a bit more like it👍

Yeah, never thought of that!

We flew to Cape Town a few years back with BA on one of their 777's. I have followed it on and off for the last 5 or 6 years on Plane Finder. It was regularly flying from the UK to America. It did Heathrow to John F Kennedy Airport on the 17th, 18th and 19th of March. It is now keeping its friends warm at Cardiff. It was moved there on the 21st from Everett in the USA.

Bit like being a train-spotter, you just don't need to hang around platforms and get cold Rolling with laughter

I'm happy to have a dig - by placing the message in a photo of the most recent model they are looking to sell, it's actually quite shameful to try and exploit the current situation for a free marketing opportunity.

Talk of togetherness and family is probably more than a little galling to the thousands of people they have laid off in recent months. You can't include people in your family when you want something from them, and then discard them when it suits - that's not how families work. Evil or Very Mad
