buy cheap semi synthetic, 15w/40 and change every 5k miles.
Impossible to wrong as i'm sure those engine would run happily on anything.

just my opinion and is what I do. The key is changing often as higher quality and priced oil from my understanding resists oxidation and heat more and for longer whilst retaining adequate cleaning and lubrication, which is irrelevant when you change the oil much more frequently than required.
