how do i remove this tab- removing pedal box
hi all,

im trying to remove my brake pedal box - 300tdi

ive got the 4 lower bolts out but the 2 upper bolts are behind this tab that doesnt seem to do anything? ive removed 3 screws that i can see and managed to pry down the driver side of the tab to remove a 5th bolt but the inboard side of the tab seems to still be secured in place by something? its either remove the tab to get at the last bolt or cut a section of the tab out which id rather not do.

much appreciated.

Slacken off the trim screws as well because they can clamp it in place quite effectively but it is just a case of pulling it down. Ed

The function of the tab is to hold the footwell trim in place.
Strictly speaking you don't need to remove the screws, slackening them should be sufficient It is not a Defender, it is a One_Ten
