I did think of that as well, but wasn't sure how the clip came off? 1999 Defender TD5 110

Lift the curved up edge and slide the locking clip off.

Cheers all. I have adjusted the rod circle (12) but its the bottom circled bit that is catching on the bolt on the transfer case

had this albeit on the pumpa set up which isn't adjustable.
although convinced it was fouling it wasn't until 3 of us were checking it and deciding what to do to resolve it we realised it wasn't actually fouling the bolt head at all. I took the clip off and found a spring that fitted on the clip which held it up (not that it was needed ![]() In my case if was a case of loosening the whole linkage assembly from the gearbox, moving it slightly and re-tightening it in a slightly different position.......and then all good ![]() good luck. |

9 is not bent and 6 is present and correct. Maybe worth replacing. 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |

Interesting, as my link does not use R clips it has like flat clips that appears to be pressed onto the link. Like a circlip but square. 1999 Defender TD5 110
