YEEESSSSSSS , happy dance time , she passed her mot today , only required a headlight adjustment , so all that hard graft was well worth it
 advisories were a steering damper bush , so she’s gonna be treated to a complete new damper , and in two weeks , it’s pit time , oh i is a happy bunny |

It sure was , today i’ve Experimented with red oxide , red oxide and hammerite and lastly tetra schuzt . Will see what lasts the best following a pit run and pressure wash , and then will stick with the best , one of the pits we use is very corrosive

And I have one bit of chassis left to try some paint or other on , so that’s getting a coat of u-pol gravitex , not putting any thing inside the chassis , as I wash it out with a hose after every pit , when I cut the chassis this time , I could see last years work , and the bare metal was ok , as it gets to dry between pits , I fear filling it with waxoyl , it could hold the water n
 that goes thru it , that reminds me , I must put some new strategic holes in the new lower parts of the chassis , roll on next pit Sunday |

Will do
although my daughter has to work , so will do my best , on another note , although I was not gonna put anything in my chassis , today whilst having a super tidy up , I collected several old paint tins , put into one , a little thinners to mix and I had a shuzt tin full of red oxide , black hammerite , silver hammerite mix . I then blasted that into every hole on the chassis , hopefully it’ll run into the new welds and add a little protection  |

hello everyone , shes got her new steering damper on and as the chassis is bone dry , i got a bottle of u-pol gravitex to try on the chassis as a treat , the chassis has never looked so good , will see how it lasts around the pit and pressure washing afterwards . its so warm i`ve even taken my door tops off . ruddy lovely

Pit visit done , the ground was so blooming rock hard , truck breaking territory it was , not many there so only one pic today , she came home cleanish but got a wash anyway , it’s 2 months now till the next one , let’s hope it’s a lot wetter n muddier . Travelling without door tops was nice in this hot weather , but she’s jolly loud on a long run
