interal drain holes
This may sound daft, but do non sunroof models have these? I am getting water in on both sides of the cab, at the top corner of the doors. I have fitted genuine door seals but I am still getting water in. the water seems to be by passing the seal and coming in,
i am suspecting that the doors have dropped due to the hinges starting to go, getting photos to compare off grafty
is there anywhere else i need to check just in case? Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

If it’s an elderly 300tdi water most likely being drawn in through cracks in the gutter sealant the length on the roof and running down internally to the front of the vehicle above the doors. Only way to properly fix it is to rake out all the sealant and reapply - last one I did I used Soudal carbond about five years ago and still no water ingress. Sikaflex is no good if you want to paint the roof.

It depends which Sikaflex you use. Sikaflex do purpose made car body sealants which are over paintable.
