It's Newtons (N) not Newton Metres (Nm)
One a measure of force, the other a measure of torque. Either way, it's a 60n strut, meaning it has 60N (or 6kg on earth) of "push" |

What sort of size and type of cubby box are you talking about?
If it is the standard LR or Exmoor (various others) with the ply lid and padding then the Lid itself will weigh a minimal amount (probably sub 1Kg. Is the strut just to keep it raised or actually raise it once past a certain point etc? 1995 300 Tdi Epsom Green- Slowly Turning into Keswick Green - It's a keeper. Hello
Its a FCX Padded one, but light in weight anyway, It more to make it feel a bit more secure than the current webbing? and so it can stay up while using the cubby. Thanks |

I have a 50N fitted to the padded lid of the Exmoor Trim XS/Premium cubby box.
It's spot on ![]() It assists both the opening and closing and helps prevent it being opened/strained too far by 'others' in the truck ![]() I recall it was 99p off eBay. |
