Security Upgrades
Hi Guy's... Can you please pm me with easy/sensible or interesting electrical security upgrades for late model 2.2 pumas...

I've read somewhere that the std alarm can be upgraded / modified to make a lot more protective... But I can't find any info with the search (could just be me being thick here)...

Just with all the reports of stolen defenders I'd like to keep these two

Also whilst I have the rear tub off my Defender can I modify the fuel system. Re, a fuel cut off valve or electrical cut off switch or both without causing airlock problems. Cheers Andy

I too am very unsure on what and how much security to get. I know you need layers but its a fine balance between lots of security and everyday usability. I don't' want to spend 10 minutes just to unlock/disable/remove to run 10 minutes down the road. Also the more you add the more to go wrong/cause conflict?!?!

If only people would stop stealing them!! It's mine and I want to keep it thank you!! Big Cry

The easy st way i can think off is to put a relay between the 2 signal resistors of the E-throttle.
