Good stuff. That is a great mod.

Just the engine swap to do then! WARNING.

AC is a very easy install. All nuts and bolts, the under dash unit plugs straight in behind the fuse box. The only wiring I had to do was to make an engine overlay harness for the compressor and condenser fan that connects to the ECU via relays Thumbs Up

Thank you Riley Bow down

Having both a V8 and a Td5 means I'm pretty well aurally sorted Rolling with laughter

Talking of updates.....

Today I got my Provent mounted up to the wing stay so I can measure the pipe runs. Also, I hadn't realised how rusty my heater box had become. Another job for the list Rolling Eyes

Also I sorted out the illumination for the AC. Only the temperature selection (blue one) was lighting dimly. Sorted with a couple LEDs Thumbs Up

How did you get access to the bulbs? I have tried numerous times to figure out how to get in there.. never found a way. What bulbs did you use? it's a Landrover thing...

The panel that the switches are mounted to unclips from the plenum. Once you have access you can pull the knobs off the switches and remove them completely.

The switches come apart by popping the white switch back from the black casing with the 4 tabs.

I used 12v warm white LEDs and put the original coloured filters over them Thumbs Up

You will need to solder the new lamps in place Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Not quite sure I follow. When you say "the panel that the switches mounted to", are you referring to the recessed 2 x 3 panel the switches are on, or the entire panel under the dash? it's a Landrover thing...

The panel that the switches are on. It can be removed from the AC unit - it's tight but there are 4 clips (2 top 2 bottom). 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

I'll give it a try again, prying top and bottom. Now i know that's how it comes apart I will be less worried about breaking things.

Do you have any specs on the LED's you put in? it's a Landrover thing...

They were just little 3mm warm white LEDs with the original colour filter over the top. They came with the appropriate resistor for 12v Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

New boots!

The Hankooks were getting below 4mm which is my comfortable lower limit. After lots of searching I ended up fitting Continental ContiCrossContact LX2s.

I've dropped from 285/60 r18 to 265/65 r18. The same rolling radius, give or take, but that little bit narrower. To be honest you can't really tell the difference between them and the 285s, but hopefully they'll behave nicer when they wear Thumbs Up

Anyway, here they are (a bit dark as it took me a while to fit them on my own having never used a tyre machine before! - not a scratch I might add Cool)
