Hello,
Camping season is here and I was wondering if it is possible to install 2 work lamps on the roof rack and not running it to the battery but on something that uses solar energy if there is such a thing ? 2016 Defender 90 Adventure Edition |

Im running 4 roof rack led lamps on the battery and 2 led lights on the front bumper as well.
Don't want to drain the battery. 2016 Defender 90 Adventure Edition |

Simplest thing would probably to put a second battery alongside the current one.
Or you can get portable, rechargeable worklights. How much light do you need, how long do you need the light for and how often are you going to be moving? Something like the Labcraft scenelights only draw about 1.2A so you could have one of them running for a few hours and should be fine on the starter battery (unless the battery is knackered anyway). |

Can portable work lights be mounted on the roof rack ?
I like that idea and any suggestions. 2016 Defender 90 Adventure Edition |
