Has any one fitted these yet?, possibly a good idea to protect the hinges from corrosion and
there is also a short bumper cover, which could be used as a number plate mount http://www.exmoortrim.co.uk/store/hofele/l...etail.html http://www.exmoortrim.co.uk/store/hofele/l...etail.html ![]() Click image to enlarge |

Never seen them before but I like the idea as its either change all the bolts to help prevent corrosion or 'out of sight out of mind'
Would have to colour code them but they look smart in the pictures.. Something else to add to my spreadsheet of stuff I like.... thanks ![]() |

I have put ball bearings in the hinges as a theft deterrent, so to avoid any future rust this would protect them I guess

I reckon these are a very bad idea, would be a perfect mud/moisture trap so that rust can work his way safely hidden behind...
... and at that price, plastic caps ![]() ![]() -- 2009 2.4 Puma Defender 90 SW 1979 Land Rover Series 3 88" |

I think that they would go brittle after a while as well.
Not the best idea |

As said, only vulnerable part is the pin, which isn't protected with this.Save your money and just wash it frequently.I painted over my bolts wi black metal chassis paint anyways, took 2 minutes, bolts haven't rusted in 2 years,I bet they don't rust within 10 years either. Pov.spec,ftw. 2006, 110,TD5.
