That's one of the best mods I have made myself, you'll be very happy with them! They transform the front a little bit, in a very subtle way Thumbs Up MY15 Aintree 110 SW - for sale - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic82781.html

Here we go, sat morning job, beats walking the dog in the rain, half an hour with a Phillips screwdriver.

£500 later, we will be able to see in the dark now. Laughing

Day off work so get some bits on for the bike rack, a box arrived from the States with hitch, tow ball and nice little locking pin. 5 mins later, looks like my measurements weren't too far out ! Whistle
Rack is a Thule Euro 929. 3 bikes will fit or 4 with the extension rack. I think the receiver might rattle a bit in the square tube, so might need a clamp pin, we'll see at the weekend.
2 mins to remove rack and hitch when not in use.

A few updates
Finally got the cubby box in and wired up, powered illumination, and 2 xUSB 1 x12V, subwoofer bolted to the back, and the mother of all struggles to get the cup holder to fit neatly. Happy now all the interior stitching matches up, and looks 'original'.

Another update
Also got the best looking spare wheel lock on the market, decided to make some little spacer tubes rather than the 6 washers that the instructions suggested, to get the correct gap. Slim bit of foam on the back of the large washer to keep things from rubbing and rattle free, and all looks fine. Took ages to fine tune, to get it sitting exactly horizontal, as any angle is really obvious. Smile

Chris, the interior looks top notch, everything coming together very nicely Bow down Exactly where I would like to get to one day with my 110. Have you also considered door panels in leather?

Well done on the X-lock, have heard it's a worthwhile security install. Having said that, I would recommend to apply ACF-50 to it regularly - so far I saw them installed twice and both had rust on them, not the most looked after Defenders though so with regular protection it will be definitely fine Thumbs Up MY15 Aintree 110 SW - for sale - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic82781.html

JK - personally the door panels in leather are a step too far, as would a leather upper dash /vents wrap.
- Now that security is improved with electronics plus physical Ardcase (and Ardsafe stowage), next on the list is sound proofing and Dinitrol. and Double Din and .. and ..
- Regarding rust on the wheel lock, yes that may be an issue as after two weeks it was showing signs on the pin, so I have greased it up fully, we shall see..... Whistle 2015 90 XS SW Bowler
