Well after 3 and a bit years Whistle I've done what I intended all along, been to Bowler and had the suspension, ST 1 engine (170hp), Stainless 3" exhaust and race mudflaps, Bumper, Bash Guard, Sills, Momo steering wheel, plus they did waxoyl and some soundproofing. Very happy chap Very Happy

They also did a super nice bespoke spare wheel lock, using my old one and adapting it for the larger centre

First impression - very very pleased with the way it looks, love the power and torque, much quieter, handles way better and I think the smaller steering wheel really helps, ride is still firm but better balanced front to rear. Happy, happy.

I now have a gap between the crappy seat base/floor edge and the Bowler side sill which is obvious and just looks unfinished when the door is open, otherwise only a few jobs left: spotlights, wing vents and, and, and....... Rolling with laughter 2015 90 XS SW Bowler

Not seen the new light surrounds, and they weren’t offered or mentioned, have you got details Confused

There are other ‘enhancements’ at Belper that you’ll only see with a visit, or make a request...... Thumbs Up 2015 90 XS SW Bowler

Which Momo steering wheel is that?

Lots to choose from and still trying to decide if I made the right choice with my Tuner 350 Sheep

Nice 90.

Love the term 'race mudflaps'

I'm sure they're nicely laser cut for lightness, but I fear that 80% of the Defenders out there already have lighter mudflaps brackets.
They just get lighter with age.

I often see a Bowler 90 stopping at the sandwich 'container' near work.

Looks great and just enough bling.

A tenner says you'll get used to the extra power in no time and shelling out for stage 2...

@ zed - so if (when) I go for more power you'll give me £10 back per 20bhp Laughing

@ GREEN1 - note to finance ctte, "If I get the lighter mudflaps and the lighter exhaust it'll be more efficient and we'll save money" Rolling with laughter My classic man maths has ben rumbled Big Cry 2015 90 XS SW Bowler

^^^ Same logic for the remap “More power means less fuel to drive as slowly as normally do, nothing to do with more speed, honest...” Whistle

I argued with SWMBO that a remap would make it more economical, thus paying for itself. In reality the extra oomph is just too much fun to drive economically, so not sure I'm seeing any fuel saving Embarassed

The light surrounds.. https://www.bowlermotorsport.com/new-parts-coming-soon/ There is a thread on them here somewhere but I can't find it now. I just wondered if you'd seen them in the flesh, but obviously not. Thumbs Up
