anti roll bar question
Hi i have a HT 1990, 90.

My truck has no bracketry for ARB but i have sourced the right brackets etc. the rear looks like i would need to alter some bits as the exhaust and dixon bate angle which secures to the chassis rail look like they would be in the way.

So i am considering fitting an ARB to the front only, has anyone got any views on this, done it, advice etc ta Question

Not done it but massive understeer would result I would imagine - through the hedge forwards!

You can fit just the front one without any ill effects.

The rear one doesnt do a massive amount anyway as you can probably tell by its thickness (very thin).

Early Classic RRs (basically the same suspension) used to have aftermarket kits available, one kit just had a huge thick rear arb, no front one, and the other make had a huge thick front arb and no rear one.

I fitted a front ARB to my 110DC it made quite a difference Very Happy

I then went on to fit a X-ENG rear ARB ..... Thumbs Up

I've running only front ARB, it corners incredibility well at speed - no serious under steer issues except on wet roundabouts.

Just aim for the exit after the exit you want, and you'll be good.

It stiffened the rear up quite a bit, mind you the X-Eng bar is very thick, but results in very flat cornering in my 110DC

There is another ARB thread somewhere with pictures of mine freshly installed...
