Washers not wiping.
I wonder if any of you folks can shed any light on a little problem I have with the washers/wipers on my 2007 Puma.
When I squirt the washers to clean the screen, the wipers no longer do the 3 or 4 wipes automaticaly.I can push the salk up or dow to make the wipers come on,but it should wipe 3 times without doing that.
Where should I start looking?????Stalk,or is there a relay that controls this feature?
Thanks a lot.
Marc.

isn't there a wiper control unit also does the interrmitant wipe as well , like a big relay in the fuse box , might be wrong sorry cant remember if it controls both

as doesn't it change the number of wipes when you wash when you change to 99 vw one , so think it does both controls ????

Yes there is labelled as D113 on page 501-16 - WIPERS AND WASHERS of the diagrams available from Dgardel's link here:

http://api.viglink.com/api/click?format=go...7269580318

The '99' one you programme the intermittant period yourself by switching on-off then on again. Thumbs Up If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

You need to dig about in his site. Not sure if this link will work but if it does it will take you directly to the diagrams.

https://onedrive.live.com/view.aspx?cid=4B...&wdo=1

Once you're into his site look for the 'Workshop Public 2 icon and click.

It will then give you two options dependant on MY year.

Your 'muddy track' doesn't help with location but your flag does (I am in St Malo at the moment) bear in mind the diagrams there are for RHD. Thumbs Up If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
