Just an update, that nice chap RLD made one up for me - yipee.

Now just need to locate a hex head, flange face M16 set screw or bolt with fine thread, grade 8.8 , high tensile steel with zinc plating and nyloc nut to match. Not as easy as you might think

I found this adapter at Monoflex in Sweden, it moves the ball 160mm rearwards.

Thats cool guitar player, the one RLD made for me is like that except it has two bolts instead of four

Have you ordered this?

No, I found it when i was looking for a lowering plate to my hitch so that i can get my caravan in level.

If you look close at the picture you can se that it has a reinforcement triangle at the top, thats why it has 4 bolts at the car side. Land Rover Defender 110 SX Station Wagon 2007

Yes saw the triangle, probably needed as it is 17cm long.

Mines closer to the shorter one hence only two bolts
