Bonding glue
What do LR use to bond the door panel to the frame? I notice when I shut the drivers door the outer skin rattles as if it the bonding has gone. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Take the door card off and water shedder, push out the door skin and squirt sikaflex in between the frame and skin every place you can get a sealer gun in, then lightly press the door skin from the outside to squeeze the sikaflex into place and leave for an hour. Rebuild the door (not forgetting to replace the water shedder) and by the next morning you should have a more reassuring thud when shutting the doors.

Yeah that's it. It's quite important to keep water out of the car so make sure you put it back and if there are any rips in it, it's best to get a new one which are only a few quid from main dealers
