The correct way up is large spring at the bottom
![]() I don't think it will fit the other way up, make sure you clean the mating faces off well and use a new gasket with some gasket blue to seal. While your have your system drained, it is well worth giving your block, radiator and heater a good blast through with lots of clean water. I usually poke a pressure washer down one hose and give it full whack to not only pressure test it but also to flow any crud out. remember to take the outlet hose off though or you will just move the crud from one part to the other! |

Yeah I have removed all the coolant hoses inc the heater hoses
