hammock hooks for 110

I have had a search for a way to hang two hammocks length ways next to each other in my defender. However... I am struggling to locate an ideal point to mount the hooks that would take the load correctly. I know little about the roof support all the defenders I've hammocked up in before had cages internally and so was a breeze to set up and advice would be mmuch appreciated I know the topic has been touched before but I didn'. Find a solution

Just an idea
Could you add an additional bracket to the front upper seat belt mount on either side so you can drop in a bar that goes across so you can attach one end of the hammock to that.
For the rear a bar that is attached to the joint above the windows/below the roof and attach the rear hammock to there?
Would the seat headrests take the weight of a hammock hanging off there? 1999 Defender TD5 110

I have a thought that I could create a hook that bolts under the sun visor brackets and the rear do handles (above door) but not sure of there load capacity

I'd be uneasy about this. The sun visors was held (IIRC) by two M6 posi pan head set screws each, and although I can't comment on the rear handles I doubt that they're any more substantial than the visors.

Given that a hammock, especially if it is tied tightly - almost taut - can exert very high loads on its mountings I doubt that this is viable. It may be you that goes bump in the night!

Fit an internal cage?

Have a look at Landiebox "www.landiebox.co.uk" as they have installed a hammock in a 110. It looks like they use eye bolts with chain link.

I have considered a cage but that's many pennies just to hang a hammock although a cage may be a future mod. I'll see how landing box have done it I thyouth the visors might not bolt onto very supportive brackets
