Hand brake stopped working, took in to garage to look at. Oil seal gone and brake pads soaked up the oil.
New seal, brake shoes all fitted and now working. Then tightened the bottom rear door hinge as the door was making a very bad rattle... Current:D4 HSE Gone: BMW Z4MC Gone: Defender TD5 90 CSW Previous: Discovery TD5 ES (Gone) |

I remember the days when we used to soak oily handbrake shoes in petrol overnight and set fire to them in the morning.
Current price of petrol probably means it's cheaper to buy new shoes. ![]() ![]() |

I took it for a longer drive and after a few hours the power was gone. Pressed the gas but no reaction and it kept slowing down Stopped, shut down and restarted. No power problems anymore untill now. Any ideas?

case of switch-it-off-switch-it-on ... bit like a computer. if you have some space cash, have a look at the ultragauge or a scangauge and you can read any fault codes from your truck ![]() |
