No, dry as a bone inside, it had never seen the light of day since some bloke, a damn sight drier than I was had put it together! I did end up wearing a lot of plain as the rain washed the stuff off the engine as I lay underneath driving the spanners Rolling Eyes

considering you went thru a wall and are OK it's not that much damage considering. still annoying though. hope thr repairs go OK.

Must admit I was expecting it to be a lot worse, considering how well built the wall was ( Whistle )and how fast I hit it. Iwas expecting the lights to be smashed up at least and thought the bonnet to be a bit damaged, but it's fine. And all the lights still work.

Glad I was in the Defender though, anything else and I image it would be a right mess, especially as airbags would have probably have got involved. The actual 'bump' was more comfortable than the dodgems... Rolling Eyes

Set off outside with flask and sandwiches this morning ready for a battle with my steering wheel, it needed to come off so I could fit the new one.

Undid the centre nut and the wheel almost fell off Thumbs Up

10 minutes later and the transformation was done.
