After a new clutch this week I thought I’d start with a 150 mile round trip to Flatdog, all was well and I came away with a new roof rack, lovely place and lovely people

After driving to Hereford to pick up this beauty of a trailer I trucked on down to near Southampton to meet up with Trebo (well his wife) to pick up a rear drawer for the 110 and then back home. Total distance something in the region of 540 miles. all done without discomfort or missing a beat.

A bit of a bucket list tick tick today, took the Ladybird 90 for a spin round the Nurburgring. Ohh you should have seen them all pointing laughing and taking pictures as i pulled up to the barrier stuck my phone with the QR Code ticket on it in the machine and the barrier opened.
Good fun but very very stressful trying to keep out of everyones way, i was looking in my n/s mirrors more than at the track, also if you do have a go i recommend a few goes on the play station i had no idea what corners were coming up driving blind and in the slowest heaviest vehicle on track. Honestly i might as well have been on a pedal cycle in a super bike race. Lambos, countless Mercs and others but the best noise and way way the fastest a Jag F type racer on maximum attack. I hit the speed limiter 130km/h 82mph a couple of times but some of the corners i was in 2nd. Its steeper than you think. Had a laugh but been there done that now. If everything is under control you are not going fast enough. He already has my old 57 plate one and that has over 125thou less miles on it . He wants the 2020 version in 2026 we discussed it last week. Also i might be keeping this one after a full driveline exchange and upgrade to Euro 6. Who knows ??
