On a convertible, just don't like the rear lines of the 911, too big a arse ??. so prefer the SL

Thumbs Up , Very nice, I had a lightly remapped (500+ bhp) 996 turbo a few years ago and will definitely have another 911 at some point. Enjoy it.

Thank you Marc Thumbs Up

First 'proper' drive last night ...... Shocked

I've only ever driven Land Rovers before, Censored this thing is quick !!!!!

I love the 'reasonable' turn of pace up to 4000 rpm then it goes into warp drive ! Mr. Green Mr. Green

Drove it to work today, 60 miles, targa top off, windows down Cool Cool Cool

There are quicker cars out there (though struggle to keep pace x-country) but they don't have that rear engine experience Cool

Glad you're enjoying it.

Cannot believe I missed a thread about 911's

Congrats on the new purchase - a wise choice going for an air cooled car. They do seem to be appreciating in value if well cared for and without doubt a real classic with a soul. A great sound too Thumbs Up

Have had a couple of 993's before myself - this is the current one

I must have a thing about green - the 90HT is Keswick (a somewhat subtler shade Very Happy )
