You can use dinitrol corroheat. I’ve used this on new engines and it’s been good. Film stays tacky for a few weeks though until fully gassed out. cheers, Steve |

Eric - It isn't me saying it it's on the Dinitrol pages online and on the cans on some of them.
It didn't used to be, but now it is. (.I noticed this recently.) I think it's fine, as I said I did my last one with regular black underbody wax and was fine. I think the risk is if it's not allowed to cure a day or two. I.e. If they (Dinitrol.) say not to use it some people may well spray it on and drive it up to temp right away. Obviously in such a short timespan the solvents may not have evaporated. SteveG - Thank-you for that. I will take a look. Makes sense for me to do mine as it's on,y a couple of months old and clean as a whilstle at the moment so an easy job. ![]() One thing to be said, my old sump stayed in A1 condition with it Dinitrol treated. It was only the seal that was the reason I had to swap it out. ![]() ____/🇬🇧🇺🇸\____ _//*⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰*\\_ |
