 2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 USW Stornoway Grey
i said i personally would fit an albright. there is nothing to stop one being mounted externally on any make or model of winch.

you are just bypasing what is in the bridge which can then be removed. Cheers

Looking again at the photo (on a pc rather than a phone this time) and I have no doubt that you're right, it is an "i".

Ok so my stupidity will come at a price.
Ill just have to fit a new solenoid unit. Drill out the rivets
Holding the old one in place. These damm things are just so damm pricy over here.

But from what I gathered the albrights does not fit in that same solenoid housing? Or am I wrong

correct, hence

leave the bridge empty and run 3 longer wires to an albright up in the engine bay where it is out of harms way. prob cheaper than buying a warn solenoid too, certainly more reliable. Cheers

Can someone give clarity as to the exact albright model / part number? I assume they make many different types of solenoids. And I assume you are still running 4 of them (same as warn?)

No, the Albright is a single unit containing all the necessary indiviual solenoids.

just one of them. power in, F1, F2 and A out and then 3 wires for the switching side of it

goodwinch do them too, will see if i can find the wiring dia. Cheers
