Plug in boxes Whistle

Personally I'd wait for a proper ECU calibration change Rolling Eyes

The plug in box will simply dump fuel in (by rail pressure increase or similar), and I very much doubt it looks at the important factors like DPF regen mapping.... which 'may' cause quite a few problems.

No experience of the Allisport box, but some of the others I've seen gave next to no power gain - and don't help the fact the standard power delivery/torque curve is naff to start with especially when looking at raw data.

Plug in boxes are now way more sophisticated than they used to be. There are still a lot of crap ones but the new breed of good ones are absolutely an alternative to re-mapping. I have a TMC Tuning box on my Abarth and it has proved faultless now for 35000 miles.

Better acceleration
Better fuel economy. (providing you use best quality fuel)
Longer gears
Better pulling power.
Warranty out the window.
High insurance costs.
More regular servicing intervals.
Slightly more turbo wear.
More fun.

The usual.

Does it affect the cars ability to run on crap fuel? I always assumed they were tuned to run on any old crap which is why they only get low bhp from them.

Yes, that what makes them so tunable in the first place.
Shell V-Power after though.

Having used the company before i cant wait , because my new 110 xs 2.2 2012 is the worst drive iv ever had from any landrover . Id not buy the box .
