Thought it should be yellow and under the driver's seat.

On mine the green relay does stop the fuel pump from working. The diagram on the panel shows a fuel pump symbol. I wonder what the 3 under the seat do then ? More investigation needed.

Thanks Laurie. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Hi!

If there are 5 relays under your seat it is a car with Aircon and ABS.

From back to front:

1. Coolingvan (Aircon?)
2. Aircon clutch
3. Glowplug relay
4. ABS Pump
5. Main Relay

Main relay and green pump relay may cause starting problems.

Excuse may simple description.

No AirCon and no ABS... So that leaves me with relay 3 and 5 1999 Defender TD5 110

2002MY different layout n different relay positions. From the land of the most expensive land rover defenders on planet earth. At 125k for a XS 110 csw and you get to own it only for 10yrs! Please find me a good reason to stay on this island.

Hi!

Had to work for a Fee days.

Check the connector /female connector of the relays.

Also ist is possible to open the relay with a small screwdriver. Maybe it smells burned.
Sometimes you can see if it is.

Hey you!

Friesland is a county in Niedersachsen.

My license plate starts with FRI- xx xxx.

So there is another Friesland in the netherlands.
