Intercoolers for Puma 110
Hi All,

Who are the recommended suppliers for inter coolers for the Puma.

I previously found allot of people recommend Allisport but I have really been battling after giving them my credit card details to get a response from them on when the inter coolers will be dispatched. Been very frustrating dealing with them and I am starting to doubt whether they can supply. (Been almost two weeks of asking and since the 11th they have been "making a batch")

NB: My account has not be debited so I dont suspect foul play, i think they are just extremely busy. I just need one urgently as I am going on a trip (safari) to Botswana next month and will be towing a very heavy trailer. it would also be nice to deal with someone who can reply to my questions and give me some dates.

No reputable supplier will debit your account until the item is dispatched. I have spoken on several occasions to Pete at Bell Auto Services and have always found him to be helpful and very prompt with enquiries. He also supplies intercoolers.

I haven't really spoken to many suppliers on a face to face basis but with BAS his demeaniour means he would be my first port of call for engine enhancements and as soon as I have the funding for an intercooler and silicon hoses he will be getting a call. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

OK thanks you.

Again please dont get the question wrong, I am not questioning Allisport or suspecting them of anything. I believe they make amazing products. They just seem very busy.

Could also be 'holiday season' perhaps with staff shortages. BAS and Alive are at 'the top of their game' and either one are reputable suppliers. Give Pete at BAS or Gary at Alive a call if you still don't get an answer I'm sure they'd do all they could for you to get your intercooler by the time you need it. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Allisport can be very hard to get hold of when you live in the same country! Cheers

As JST stated they can be a bain when it comes to customer contact, you are not the first person to have difficulties getting some form of contact/response from Allisport, there are historical threads on here with the same complaint...

I have never had any dealings with them and am unlikely to do so purely because of this! Shame really as their products are very good. As you I shall go through an authorised distributor and will get excellent service in comparison I am sure.

Wise decision in my book and one you will be pleased with! Enjoy your trip....Hope your intercooler enjoys it too! Thumbs Up If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Thank you.
Reason I chose them is because their quality is legendary. I didn't know they had dealers.

Perhaps I should just be a little patient and if its here in time then cool if not then so be it. Smile

Definately! I admire your patience especially as there are suppliers (as mentioned previously) that probably have the item you require sat on the shelf in stock.
Check with the other suppliers first, then bin the order and ask for an immediate refund.... or an immediate dispatch of the item as they now have your money and have given no indication of when your order will be sent.
